Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and QuestDrop AB ("Side", "we", "us") governing your use of the Side mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required in your country) to use Side. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding contract with us.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. You may sign in with email, Google, or Apple. Provide accurate information and do not impersonate others or create an account for someone whose account we have disabled.

3. User-generated content

Side lets you create and share content — photos, videos, captions, posts, comments, and direct messages ("Your Content").

• Ownership. You retain ownership of Your Content.
• Licence to us. You grant Side a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute Your Content solely to operate and provide the App (e.g. showing your posts to friends). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content others have already saved or copies retained in backups for a limited period.
• Responsibility. You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to share it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Side to post, send, or share content that:

• is unlawful, harassing, bullying, hateful, threatening, or violent;
• is sexually explicit, or sexualises minors in any way;
• is spam, fraudulent, or deceptive;
• infringes others' intellectual property or privacy;
• impersonates another person; or
• otherwise violates our Community Guidelines.

You also agree not to: attempt to access other users' accounts, reverse-engineer or disrupt the App, scrape data, or use the App to harm others.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour.

5. Content moderation, reporting, and blocking

To keep Side safe, the App provides tools to:

• Report users, posts, comments, and messages you believe violate these Terms;
• Block users so they can no longer interact with you.

We review reports of objectionable content and act on violations — including removing content and ejecting offending users — within 24 hours of a report where appropriate. We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, with or without notice.

6. Termination

You may stop using Side at any time and delete your account from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the App or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. content licence for backups, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that user content is accurate or appropriate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuestDrop AB will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including your statutory consumer rights under Swedish and EU law).

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date and may ask you to re-accept in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
